I would try a TB! internal backup, although I'm not sure *how*
backward compatible TB!'s backup is. So I would use my seven days to
additionally export all really important mails to MBX format outside
The Bat!. These can be easily imported with the newer versions. I'd
also save The Bat!'s program folder.

If all goes wrong throughout this week, you can (for rescue reasons)
set your system time back... ;-)
