It's slow during mail retrieval, which is OK because it's doing lots of "thinking" (pathetic fallacy?), but it also seems to do a lot of database management throughout the day. I really applaud the popfile project, and it's still the best catcher outside of running (and maintaining) a server side spamassassin, but from time to time I like to check out the alternatives.
