I can't offer any help, but I am interested in what it appears you have
done.

At work they have set up Exchange 2003 and I have had to use Lookout!
because they won't set up POP or IMAP on Exchange. Your email seems to
suggest there is another way to retrieve emails from the server.

Is that right? If so, can you provide the details?

I currently use the TB! import facility to import received emails from
Lookout! An effective process, but tedious. I don't mind sending to an
SMTP server other than Exchange, but would love to be able to download
directly in to TB!
