If you open the Address Book, select Personal address book, and
Properties (Alt+Enter) what is the file location? Is it something
similar to "C:\Documents and Settings\your-account\Application
Data\The Bat!\TheBat.ABD" or the location of the file listed above? If
it's the temporary folder you mention then the original file could
intact in its original location. Otherwise, you may be unfortunate and
it's been overwritten with the new one... although that seems
unlikely.

Since you have no backup try System Restore as Mary suggests... TB!
will create a new restore point before it's installed. Hopefully, you
haven't turned that off.
