Try this:

  1. Click on the folder from which you deleted the messages, then select Browse
  Deleted Messages from the Folder menu.

  2.  When  the first message appears in the message window, select Show message
  list from the View menu.

  3. Click in the message list that has just appeared and select all messages.

  4. Select Copy to Folder or Move to Folder from the Message menu.

  5. Select the folder of your choice and press OK.

  6.  All  selected  messages  should  now  be sitting happily undeleted in that
  folder.

Worked for me using 3.51.10 2 days ago. Hope it will also work for you.
