I'm doing somewhat the same.
I filter each address in its own folder (as my different addresses are
for different 'functions') I've set in the folder properties the
identity matching the address that gets filtered into it.
So when I reply to a message, TB takes the from address from the
folder properties.
For those addresses I've got outgoing filters too, that filter sent
messages from those addresses to the same folder, so I've got the
whole correspondence for each address in separate folders.
