Hello TBUDL, I usually use the PTV. Sometimes (and that refers currently only to some messages on TBOT), I switch to the RTV in order to see the smileys. I do this by right-clicking in the message body.
Every time now I have to choose the RTV *and then* I have to choose Smileys, because they're "off" by default. I know that in earlier TB versions the default was "on" (at least on my computer). I was looking for a setting under Options / Preferences, but couldn't find it.
