You can use Google Desktop search to index TB messagebases. I had it successfully running here, though others reported it wouldn't work (IIRC those were "professional" installations with OTFE enabled). Look up the conversation in the archives, it was about three or four months ago that we discussed this here (I don't keep my local messagebase for TBUDL that long, but I can send you the binaries if you can't find them). I don't use Google Desktop anymore because it runs as a local proxy in some wicked way that my preferred browser (Opera) couldn't cope with (I couldn't access the Google websites from Opera anymore, only the local search). -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de - ICQ 238153981) Something unknown to our understanding is visiting the Earth. -- Mitron Zverev, Soviet scientist ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.51.10 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
