I just defend it when I see the need. I'm sure you'll step in too when
you read something you disagree with? :)

I do recall the days of reading newsgroups with a dialup connection.
IMAP will be no different. Good luck! In fact, with TB! IMAP, it'll be
worse. You really need broadband for it to be smooth. However, even with
a dialup connection a lot of IMAP's benefits should be evident to you.
