Dear Batters, Using version 3.5.30, my connection centre hangs every time. I get the message "Some tasks are now active" and "Do you want to exit when they are finished?" Someone has a sense of humour: the only way to gain control of The Bat is with ctrl, alt, del. I tried disabling the anti virus - to no avail. I tried creating a new account - same thing.
