It's actually two subject lines, "No Spell Checker" and "Spell Checker Menu." Starting with a query along about April 18, 2005. Sure enough, MAU did say to me that he couldn't remember how he first got his CSAPI dictionaries in, but he didn't think it would happen "automagically." But, then, the conversation continued and Marcus Ohlstrom wrote that, in fact, The Bat! *did* automatically detect CSAPI dictionaries and add them automatically to the Spell Checker, when Office 1997-2000 was installed on a machine with The Bat! I still agree with that. :) But what I found and posted above still doesn't solve your problem. You are going to need either Miguel or Miguel's Proof.zip file in order to get them into your copy of The Bat!, apparently. Unless you'd like to try what he posted to the list on September 6, 2004 and re-posted in an attachment on April 18, 2005: TBBETA: mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBBETA: mid:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bumbling along, trying to practice reciprocal altruism, here. :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat! 3.51.10 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.51.10 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
