Greg, I am unable to curb my impulse to say, Congratulations! I am so
glad that you were able to find the cause of the problem, as well as
to get the CSAPI dictionaries that you wanted into your copy of The
Bat! :)

And we now know that v. 3.51.10 will recognize and add them from
Office 97. Working as designed and as the Help file says it does.

<sigh of relief that the possibility of a bug has been eliminated>
