I'm not planning to set up a primary partition, I just want to connect
the new HD. My experience with the automatic assigning of drive leters
dates back to Win98, I never did it with an XP system. I think you are
giving me good news. :-)

No, I have only C and D, and network drive called X, pointing to the
webserver.

As I said, I'm not planning to set up a new primary drive. I'm just
not quite sure what XP does when it detects a new HDD.
