As Roelof said, "You can only assign shortcuts to actions in a container
and said action shortcut is only available when the container is
relevant". Is that relevant to you? :-)

I do the same with a monthly Newsletter. If you write something like the
following it will work. Make a quick template with:

          %SUBJECT=" Hockey club Newsletter"Hello %TOFNAME,

          Here is the latest edition of the Newsletter.

          %ATTACHFILE="C:\Documents and Settings\newsletter.doc"

Then go to Address book. Select the address group and click on
"File/Mass mailing using template" and select the template. You can then
edit it before sending and it automatically sends to all those in the
selected address book group.
