In that case close TB
Delete (or move) the .tbi file from the folder with problem msgs
Start TB
See whether that helps.

When TB finds a folder without a messages.tbi file, it creates a new
one. However, things like memos, flags, etc are stored in the .tbi
file, so if you're using flags, memos or parked messages, you should
merely move it and restore it after your experiment. Take care that TB
doesn't add or delete messages from that folder while you're
experimenting, otherwise restoring the old .tbi file will get get you
a corrupted index.
