Hello Mary,

Well according to the rich participation in this topic's discussion
(you and me, with me being the only one having a problem) I don't
think I will. Maybe I am really the only person who cares, and I think
Ritlabs guys really have more important things to do.... :-)

I'd say same as in next solution: if another new mail drops in.

>> - Right click option "Hide Ticker until new messages arrive"

Should not be such a big problem. It would be the same behavior as
now when you open the mailticker's menu and select "hide", just that
this choice is not saved into the preferences, as it is now (choosing
"hide" there hides the mailticker "forever".).

>> - option to make the mailticker "click-through-able" and only react on

Umm...no ;-) currently when you left-click on the ticker you can move it.
With the above solution it would send the click simply down to the
program below the mailticker.

Very good idea!

On my notebook my whole screen is not much larger than that :-))) but
seriously: when its getting hectic, and the mailticker pops up just
above a tray icon I want to click on (I have the ticker bottom-right)
it always disturbs me.

I wished more computer people would have your capability of accepting
that *their* point view must not necessarily be the same for all other
users. That's why I'm always happy to see a "Mary-Bull-Reply" to my
posts!
