While 'your' bug is fixed or not ;-), there is an alternative you can
use. If you look at Common folders as being the folders of an 'invisible
account' (which is basically what they are), you can create an extra
account which you can even call Common.

In the Transport properties of this account, just include any fake or
unreal server or none at all. And in the 'Options/Mailbox checking'
properties, make sure that both 'Check mail-box at startup' and
'Periodical checking' options are uncheck. Also make sure that "Ignore
'Check All Accounts' requests" is selected (ticked).

Now move your Common folders into this account, all your filters should
be automagically changed/adapted and everything should work, including
your templates.

To be on the safe side, try with just one Common folder until you feel
confident. You can always move the folder(s) out of this account to be
Common folder(s) again.
