Unfortunately however whenever I try to access my IMAP account at Fastmail The Bat! appears to complete all the downloading and then crashes with an Access violation error.
As you've discovered, Bob, IMAP is still a "work in progress" in TB! I have so many issues with performance, implementation and stability that I rarely use the prog these days. For a better discussion of the current state of IMAP take a deep breath and have a look at TBBETA.
