Is this where yours appears? Thank you for replying Stuart. At least now I know my messages are making it to the list. As you can see from my sig, I am back to my old version of TB for reasons stated in my original post. In this, the old version, the address books are kept in the Windows folder titled THE BAT! They are named JACK.abd and JUNE.abd, not JACK.adb and JUNE.adb as in my previous post. I mistakenly transposed the last two letters. Anyway, in this old version (2.11), there are no files named 'thebat.abd' as in your beta version. RIT Labs states: "Updating to the latest version of the programme is easy: there is no need in uninstalling your existing copy of The Bat! - just install the new version over. All the settings, messages and address books will be preserved." So, that's what I did. No old address books. Thanks to you I now know I am reaching the list so I'll just keep checking to see if anyone has an answer to this. -- Best regards, Jack mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Now running TB! v2.11.02 from Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 - Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.64.01 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
