Thanks for the tipps; I have set up my account with your settings and additionally I updated my TB to the new 3.70.06 Beta Version. So far the crashes are gone... I noticed also that with the new version not all folders are updated every time I recieve mail but only the ones which I have set up up to syncronise. This speeds up my TB to what I need.
