Hi all, I have a quick question regarding server settings for IMAP. I have recently moved from Outlook 2003 to TB against an IMAP account on Exchange server. When I am away from the office I access the server remotely without having to be connected to the corporate network, so far so good. MY SMTP server and Mail server settings for the account contain the external IP address of the server and this all works swimmingly. However when I am in the office and connected to the LAN I would like to use the local name of the server to connect to. I've tried simply changing the server name in the settings however this doesn't appear to work. Does anyone do this currently or have any suggestions as to how I might achieve this?
