This worked and brought the certificate ABs back. However, now my
Personal AB was empty, and the additional AB I had created completely
gone from within TB (whilst still on the HD, and the .ini pointed to
them).

This time, I could import the addresses from the file on disk into the
Personal AB entry in the AB window.

For the other AB, the only thing that helped was to go to File / Open
in the AB window, and when I opened the .abd file from the disk, the
entry for this AB entry suddenly showed up in the AB list, and all
addresses showed up.

So, everything is working now to my satisfaction. However, it was a
bit weird to get there.
