A complete backup should include your entire mail directory (default path is "%APPDATA%\The Bat!") and the registry key branch of "HKCU\Programs\RIT" (the latter is not backed up by TBs internal backup program either). A successful backup and restore depends. If you wish to restore everything as it used to be, a complete backup of TBs program folder and the mail directory with NTBackup, plus the registry key (export from a batch file) may be the easiest way. However, if the pathes to the mail directory have changed, it will be easier to restore a backup from TBs internal backup tool. I've done both in the past, depending on the situation. No way to kick it off separately? TB must be running to execute the event, yes. But since the computer has to be running to start the backup, you can create an event to start TB in time as well. :-) -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de) Young's Law: All inanimate objects can move just enough to get in your way. ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.80.06 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
