You might want to add a note to either or both of the above bug reports--each is requesting Feedback. Or, since neither one describes non-functioning of both the Specials/Alternate forwarding and of the Account/Properties/Templates/Forward--MIME-forwarding check box, a completely new Issue Report might be in order, with the two above links cited as Related.
