Many use such servers precisely to avoid inline surprises. I left OE for TB! precisely to avoid surprises in my mail program. I use the Bat's plain text viewer. I rarely ever go to the "picture" tab for anything. Wish those servers treated me as well. Every stinking piece of mail from AOL or ones of its clones comes in as a two-parter, HTML below, plain text (my preference) for viewing on top.
