I  have  used  K9  and  other external antispams and then used all antispam
plugins  created  for  The  Bat!,  started  with BayesIt, then Bayes Filter
Plugin, then AGAVA and I am using AntispamSniper for 6 months.

And AntispamSniper is the winner. I can't compare it with K9, because I
have used K9 more then two years ago, but I like plugin more than external
application.
