Okay, I'll give that a shot. I'm going to move the folder containing the unencrypted files (from before I began using the Pro version) to a different partition however, because I don't want to risk losing access to the messages of significance historically that are contained in it. If after removing the folder The Bat! Pwd and trying to install, I continue to get the AVs, I'll burn that folder to CD (of unencrypted files) and delete it from the other partition and then try again. I'll report the results later this morning.

The value of posting this situation in TBBETA is that a BugTraq report
can perhaps be instigated to cover the fact that "Remove all files"
simply does not do the job.

Let's see what outcome I get from following your instructions and whether I can get the program reinstalled successfully. Then if I can, I'll post my experience on the beta list.
