I have recently had some unusual problems with emails. For example, here is an email which starts out as a message to one mailing list and then in the middle switches to an entirely different message sent to another mailing list. In the below quote, everything up to "regularly." is one message and then it switches to a something from a different email.

Clearly the two clubs involved feel that ALL dogs - male or Another problem. This is on numerous messages in my inbox. They do not show an author or recipient or subject matter. The text is somewhat there and sometimes only partialy there.
