Just take care that the name part (including the comma) is between
quotation marks, so your mail is addressed to:
"Firstname Lastname, LETTERS on group name" <group address>
You can achieve that by changing your QT to:

"%OFromName on %-
%setpattregexp=#(.*?)[EMAIL PROTECTED]
%RegExpBlindMatch=#%OReplyAddr#%-
%Upper='%SubPatt=#1#'" <%OReplyAddr>
