I got a similar problem. All was fine and suddenly this strange behaviour started. For me the freezing is more random. TB! freezes on about 40% of the messages I open. I tried the repair functions. Reinstalled old and new versions of TB! Nothing seems to help. I even had a few freezes when I wrote this message. I even reinstalled windows. (full format etc) The problem didn't go away. The only thing that's left from the previous installation is the message backup I imported on my freshly installed machine.
