No, it specifies a font named "sans-serif". Had a default sans-serif
font been intended, the line should have read:

  font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;

In this case, quotes do make a difference. See:
http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-CSS2/fonts.html#font-family-prop

In other words, The Bat! is doing what is has been told to do. Since
it can find neither "Calibri" nor "sans-serif", it defaults to its
default serifed font, "Times New Roman".
