What is the difference between a Folder and a Common Folder? I have a set of folders that I use to filter email from various senders.
Some are in the top level of the tree - parallel with an acxtual email account's folder set. Others are in a folder called 'Clients' and are thus all one level in. These I think are just 'Folders' but I wonder if they were set up as Common Folders... basically I am confused. The only reason I ask is that I have had a rash of disappearing folders recently - all recently created ones. They have a folder in the 'Documents and Settings' place where all emails are stored in their raw format. But they will not reappaerar. (Even trying CTRL ALT SHIFT L or whatever). Anyway I can live with that for now - I just have got no inkling of the concepts behind 'Folder' and Common Folder' - their idfferences from each other and their intended functions/uses. -- Marten Gallagher Annery Kiln Web Design www.annerykiln.co.uk Using The Bat! 3.99.3 with K9 on Windows XP 5.1 [email protected] ________________________________________________ Current version is 3.99.24 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
