Win XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 ServicePack 2. I am using it on a DELL 
Inspiron 6400 Laptop, Intel CoreDuo 2 GHz (T2500).

After removing the error-plugin still the same problem.
I would have been surprised if this worked because my former version, the 
Christmas Edition, worked pretty well with this configuration. The exception 
arose after the update to 3.99.24/1.274 (professional)
