I get that a lot. Not with the Inbox, but with country folders. I then
finetune the filtering conditions more and split that folder into two,
for example "Germany-Companies Group A" and "Germany-Companies Group
B".

Seperating is better, as otherwise he will run into the same probelm
regularly.

Without compressing, the folder size on the disk is not reduced.

That's bad luck, something went wrong. Look whether you find a
part*.bin file in that directory on the hard disk. If so, it will
contain the missing mails and most of them can be imported.

You can delete the .tbi file while TB! is closed. Next time you open
it, a new index file will be created.

The .tbi file also contains flags, colour groups, and memos. These
will be lost when you delete it.
