Yes, I think that it has been working without any problems. For me virus e-mails are much less common these days, so my recent experience are quite thin, and I noticed that I had not setup the plugin correctly since I got my new work computer. I think that the plugin is / can be installed by the AVG Professional setup package. You should be able to run the setup package again if you already have installed AVG to modify your installation and select the plugin.
