I was wondering whether anyone else was experiencing this. I have my IMAP account setup as can be seen here: http://www.chriswarrington.com/imap-0.png http://www.chriswarrington.com/imap-1.png http://www.chriswarrington.com/imap-2.png
However, if I am idle for a bit (less than a minute), The Bat! reports that the server has closed the connection. Like this: >2008-02-19, 15:11:52: IMAP - 1: The folder "*****" selected. 0 recent, 0 >unread out of 24 total messages !2008-02-19, 15:11:57: IMAP - Msg: Server closed connection And this: 2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Initiating TLS handshake >2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Certificate S/N: >72819D9F9A1B0F4B73984BD8D19538B8, algorithm: RSA (1024 bits), issued from >2007-09-11 7:06:31 PM to 2008-09-10 5:34:58 PM, for 1 host(s): *****. >2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Owner: ********************. >2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Issuer: ZA, Western Cape, Cape Town, Thawte >Consulting cc, Certification Services Division, Thawte Premium Server CA, >[EMAIL PROTECTED] 2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - TLS handshake complete >2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Msg: Connected to IMAP server (**********) >2008-02-19, 15:12:22: IMAP - Msg: Logged on as "******" !2008-02-19, 15:12:39: IMAP - 1: Server closed connection !2008-02-19, 15:12:52: IMAP - Msg: Server closed connection The Bat! still works, but I switch into offline more. Other clients (pine, Thunderbird, sup) don't seem to cause the server to disconnect them. Does anyone know what's going on? -- Christopher Using The Bat! v4.0.14 on Windows Vista 6.0 Build 6000.
