Hello Grumpy, > Is there a setting in The Bat where you can disable the 'delete > everything below the last signature delimiter when replying' feature? > I can remove the sig delimiter from my messages, and that will help - > but it won't help when other people use them (The Bat will still see > the delimiter and will delete the stuff below it when you reply to a > message).
No, there isn't because it is not an 'option' of the program. It is just an issue of the Reply template(s) and the macro '%Quotes' used in them (including the default ones). Modify your template(s) to use '%Text' instead of '%Quotes', but having in mind that '%Text' does not include the '>' quotation marks(s) at the beginning of each line like the '%Quotes' does. A couple of simple examples: ,----- [ If you top post ] | Salutation, | | %Cursor | | ------ Original Message ------ | %Text `----- ,----- [ If you do nut top post ] | Salutation, | | ------ Original Message ------ | %Text | ---- END Original Message ---- | | %Cursor `----- HTH. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
