Hi

Inline PGP signing or encrypting or both strips the space from the
signature cut-mark, but only when the openPGP application is called
from TB! or when the internal PGP implementation is used. Using GnuPG
from the command line does not do this, and nor does GPGtray.

This was reported in 2004 https://www.ritlabs.com/bt/view.php?id=3245
and the response was "Inline signing must not use trailing spaces
because they often get lost on the way to the recipient making the
signature unverifiable."

While the answer has merit for a clear-signed message, it does not
apply if the message is encrypted (or signed and encrypted).

Does anybody agree that the space should not be stripped if the
message is to be encrypted?
