Thanks for putting me on the right track! After identifying it as part of the Quick Search pop-up, I went back to the customize dialog, reset Quick Search to the defaults, saved that change, then checked Quick Search in the View menu. The edit box vanished. I then unchecked Quick Search, and now all is well! No Quick Search toolbar and no ghost edit box either... -- Jim Kyle Using The Bat! v4.2.36.4 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 3 on VMWare Server 2 under Xubuntu 8.04.3 with AntiSpamSniper Version 3.2.4.5 (Folder template, no "ACCOUNT" macro in it) ________________________________________________ Current version is 4.2.23 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
