Do you have a really huge messagebase? I find that if I'm viewing a
folder with several thousand messages when I get new mail, this is
slow to update and sometimes I don't see the new messages until 10-15
seconds after the connection centre window has closed. I think this is 
also something to do with processor activity, as it is worse when my 
anti-virus is doing a scan or when I have several apps running.
