Hi all, What about building in capability to talk to various Java grid-computing frameworks so users just write their app and Terracotta does all of the calls to the various grid frameworks, and the user can specify what kind of backing compute grid is being used in the tc-config.xml
For example, the user would be able to deploy to different grid computing frameworks just by specifying it in the tc-config file, and THAT's IT. No need to deal with different grid APIs or anything, just write their Java code. Ahhhh :-) I don't know how to do this offhand, but it's an idea for everyone to chew on. :-) Cheers, Jim
