Yes, I think we'll need to.  We should also consider supporting the unique 
snapshot naming convention, which includes a timestamp on the file name.  The 
Maven deploy goal uses this naming convention for snapshots by default.

Here are a couple of examples:

# non-snapshot jar
clustered-ehcache-1.3/1.0.0/clustered-ehcache-1.3-1.0.0.jar

# snapshot jar
clustered-ehcache-1.3/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/clustered-ehcache-1.3-1.0.0-SNAPSHOT.jar

# unique snapshot jar
clustered-ehcache-1.3/1.0.0-SNAPSHOT/clustered-ehcache-1.3-1.0.0-20070823.202529-1.jar
