Hi Orion, since Terracotta officially supports RHEL, I suggest we put CentOS on the AMI (http://www.centos.org). This is the closest free alternative to a real RHEL license.
I'm personally a fan of Gentoo, but I don't think that this is appropriate for a general purpose TC public AMI.
