Yes, there is a uniqueVersion parameter that can be used when deploying
the artifacts. If it is set to false, snapshot artifacts are named
artifactId-version-SNAPSHOT.jar, if it is set to true they are named
artifactId-version-timestamp.jar.
We currently have uniqueVersion set to false, so any time we deploy a
snapshot artifact it overwrites the existing snapshot with the new one.
If we want to switch to the uniqueVersion naming scheme, we can simply
change this property to true. My instinct says we should set
uniqueVersion=true, but I believe Steve, Taylor, and Eugene have all
made arguments for keeping it set to false so maybe they can weigh in
here.
