Should it not use the Maven Plugin to launch clustered VMs? Maybe
default the # to 2?

I just finished an archetype yesterday for starting up a terracotta
ready POJO project, and ported the Chatter demo.
To use it, check out the pojo-archetype:
svn co
https://svn.terracotta.org/repo/forge/projects/pojo-archetype/trunk
pojo-archetype
And install it in your local Maven repo:
mvn clean install
Usage:
mvn archetype:create \
-DgroupId=your.project \
-DartifactId=app \
-DarchetypeGroupId=org.terracotta.archetypes \
-DarchetypeArtifactId=pojo-archetype \
-DarchetypeVersion=1.0-SNAPSHOT
It will generate a Maven project with simple app ready to run under
Terracotta (you'll have to set the env variable TC_INSTALL_DIR to
point to your TC installation)
You can checkout the Chatter demo here:
svn co https://svn.terracotta.org/repo/forge/projects/chatter/trunk
chatter
Suggestions, comments, etc., on the generated project files and other
defaults to produce a nice and complete looking demo/app with all the
works would be nice...
Tnx

I do remember seeing a JIRA issue for it, but hadn't seen anything

work was being done. I can wait if you all want to check your
respective work in tomorrow and I can take a crack at what's left.
Sound good?
Thanks,

They will probably move out into the forge, but not now...I would

heh. I did it, too, and didn't check it in.
Where should these live? In the forge? In the core?

I've already done it for a few....just not checked them in
yet...feel free to do it, it takes very little effort per demo.
My thought on the ant build file was to have tcbuild create it from
the pom.xml, or at least generate it and check it in, but regard
the pom.xml as the source of truth.

I think a jira exists about that :-). Did you want to take a crack

Hi all, Since Eugene has written the Maven 2 plugin, I was
thinking that it would be great to create POMs for the sample
projects in /code/ demos. I'm thinking it would be best to create
a POM file where there is an ANT buildfile to make it easiest for
newcomers to use. I'll probably start tinkering some tonight. Any
thoughts? Thanks, Jim
