The jline library that we use actually requires a native lib that it
writes into java.io.tmpdir and then cleans it up at VM-termination.  See
loadLibrary in:

http://jline.cvs.sourceforge.net/jline/jline/src/main/java/jline/WindowsTe
rminal.java?revision=1.5&view=markup

Just one way to go.

I think their is a standard directory structure for storage of
