Another question that came up while working with a prominent customer is that Cluster-Topology Descriptors and Events must be cognizant of Striped-L2 deployments (such as Co-residency and other flavors). E.g. A node may be connected to 1 L2 fine and may only get disconnected from a second active L2 in the cluster.
Even if this is out of scope for this revision of the implementation, we should be aware of it - so that striped-L2 configurations can be easily accommodated. Thanks. -----Original Message----- From: tc-dev-boun...@lists.terracotta.org [mailto:tc-dev-boun...@lists.terracotta.org] On Behalf Of Geert Bevin Sent: Friday, January 23, 2009 8:23 AM To: tc-dev Subject: [tc-dev] First public draft of new cluster events design Hi everyone, Attached is the first public draft of our redesign for cluster events and cluster meta-data for Terracotta applications. I'm interested in getting feedback from the community about the direction we're taking with this. Sergio, it would be very helpful if you could find some time to read through this and provide comments on how this relates to your work on tim-messaging. Thanks a lot for the help, Geert
