Hey Tim,

I'd be more than happy to contribute back, it's just that I did not have the 
time to extract a proper patch to submit on Jira, but I'll do ASAP.
In the meantime, the code is on a private repo on bitbucket, if you give me 
your username I'll give you access to it.
