The Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University
of Miami  is looking for a self-motivated full-time Ph.D. student
(Research Assistant)  to conduct cutting-edge research in a variety of
topics revolving around interdisciplinary research areas spanning
disciplines such as wireless networks, communications, game theory,
and other adjunct fields. The interested candidate should meet the
following criteria:
 -   Holding or expected to obtain (before July 2012) a B.S. or M.S.
degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related
disciplines.
 -   Strong background in mathematics and analytical thinking are essential.
 -   Background in wireless and communication networks is desirable.
 -   Intellectual curiosity and interest in novel analytical
techniques such as game theory and related areas.
 -   Ability to pursue independent research.
 -   Excellent writing and communication skills in English.

The position is fully funded including a tuition waiver and a
competitive monthly salary and the start date is expected to be in
Fall 2012. The selected student will enjoy working on state-of-the-art
research areas and will benefit from numerous collaborations with
several other institutions in the USA and internationally.
