Doing experimentand simulation of an optical packet and circuit integratednetwork testbed. Evaluating quality of service,bandwidth, scalability and power-consumption forintegrated networks. [Application requirement] Ph.D. or equivalent experience in telecommunicationsand/or networks is required. Applicants are required tohave ability for international research collaborations.Applicants are required to have skills in the followingfields. (1) Modeling and simulation of optical switchingsystems, optical devices, and optical networks. (2) Development of networks from physical layer throughtransport layer and analysis of quality of service bysimulation and experiments.In addition, following research experiences are desirable.(A) Optical packet switching, optical circuit switching.
